I’m Cristy.
I am an Afro-Indigenous queer woman from the Boogie down Bronx. A life-long learner who have always had a knack for sharing knowledge and love. I have been told and firmly believe that I am meant to be an educator. That is one of the surest things I know of myself and my mission on this planet at this time.
To share knowledge.
However, on my journey through life, in great pauses and moments of reflection, I ask myself the grandest question “Who am I?”
The adjectives above describe parts of me but it is in the sum of those parts and within the intersections of my identity I find myself. Growing up, I have always felt like an outsider. The uniqueness of who I am and how I express gave naysayers and negative folks ammunition to bully me, vilify me, shame me. But that same ammunition fortified my metaphysical armor and allowed me to build a self-esteem so solid and deep, it acts as a moat of protection for my mind, heart, and spirit.
I use my lived experiences, love for literature and art, and Godly messages to transmute and alchemize negative energy and bring glory and joy to any space that I am blessed to be in. I am a survivor of many things and a thrivor continuously moved to share love.
I believe in the work that I do, the people I serve, and the divinity that exists in each and every one of us.

Why ofelia nibari?
Nibari means grandchild. I am fortunate to have been raised by strong and powerful women. In my matrifocal culture, we pride ourselves on caring for our elders and learning their wisdom to pay forward to the latter generations.
Ofelia is my grandmother‘s name. She spawned ten children and left a beautiful legacy on this world. She was the guiding influence in my life and always a reminder to remain strong, share love, respect others, and pray always.
Ofelia Nibari’s mission is to provide a variety of coaching services to support the professional and personal development of individuals, businesses, and organizations.
Our vision is to alchemize and refute negative programming and behaviors that hold people back from living in the fullness of themselves and accomplishing their dreams.

In my lifetime, I have created many things. Since I was a little girl, I also sought to create from making fake food from paper, drawing outlines of chicken and cutting up paper confetti to resemble rice to writing stories on unlined paper, my creativity knows no bounds. It is in the spirit of creation, that I seek to collaborate with others and create programs, products, and initiatives to serve people and support their elevation.
I, like many others before me, has experienced creations birthed from love stolen, exploited, and ”rebranded”. But it is with great resilience and determination that I am motivated to create again and again and again. Tapping into my divine feminine power of creation. So let’s create, elevate, and substantiate.
